Hey... It's Been a While

Merry [belated] Christmas and Happy New Year! Apparently I never mentioned that I created a website on my last post, so I apologize for leaving any of you hanging... for a very long time.

I don't have the website anymore. I didn't renew the domain name or the hosting, so I'm back to my old stomping grounds. I think this is the best for now since I don't have money to spend on hosting and I'm never satisfied with any of the WordPress templates. I'm studying web design and development, so you'd think I'd actually build the website myself. Honestly, I should.

Anyway, I'll be posting on Blogger for the foreseeable future. I should beginning posting some time in January. Stay tuned!

PlayStation Plus October 2017: MGSV: The Phantom Pain is Free for PS Plus Subs

The PlayStation Blog is up to their usual antics. I usually wait until the day of to write this post, but I'm so excited about Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain being free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Like Final Fantasy XV last year, I played this game practically everyday from release day to the end of 2015. Although it may not be my favorite Metal Gear game in the series (that belongs to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater), the gameplay is phenomenal.

There are so many ways to complete a mission, and you feel so freaking awesome no matter how you do it. For example, I got very frustrated one time because I kept getting caught by the guards that I decided enough was enough and started shooting down helicopters with an RPG and going to town on everyone else with every weapon I brought with me. All I wanted to do was sneak around the base, maybe knock out some people with tranquilizers or choke holds... but, no. Didn't happen. In fact, it was a lot like this:

Anyway, this game is a lot of fun. I can't say much about the other games since I have yet to play them, but I definitely think MGSV makes having PlayStation Plus worth it this month. Here's the rest of the lineup:

PlayStation Plus: September 2017 Free Games

It's the first Tuesday of a new month, and you know what that usually means on the PlayStation Store: new games to download for free if you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber.

As always, I'll include the current price of the games, add up the total, and show you how much you save this month with PlayStation Plus... assuming you don't own any of these games.

Looking at the list on the PlayStation Store, I don't have any of these games. I inFAMOUS Second Son when it was originally released. It's a fun game. The story is rather lackluster, but the gameplay is fun, so I do recommend giving it a try. Especially if you've played inFAMOUS and inFAMOUS 2 on the PlayStation 3.

PlayStation Plus: August 2017 Free Games

I've been jumping back and forth between this blog and another blog I run. Little did I know, the domain name I registered needed to be renewed. Since money is a little tight right now, I've decided I'll stick with this blog for the time being. Surprisingly, Blogger does more of what I want done than Wordpress. Aesthetically, I think Wordpress is better, but there are plenty of things that Blogger does that I like more.

Anyway, that isn't why you're here. You're here to find out how much PlayStation Plus saves you this month. Last month, PlayStation Plus subscribers saved $83.94 with games like Until Dawn and Game of Thrones: A Telltale Game Series. Judging by the comments on the PlayStation Blog, a lot of people are happy with this month's lineup. Let's see how much money we end up saving... assuming you don't have any of these games and you're actually interested in them. That being said, free games are free games.

Days of Play Sale—Ends June 16 at 8AM PT

Last Friday, the PlayStation Store started a sale called Days of Play with sales up to 50% off on select games. These games include Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Final Fantasy XV was originally part of this sale, but is now part of the "Best of E3" sale that started today. I'll be sure to include a post about it after I get this one on the blog.

PlayStation Plus Free Games for June

Yesterday, the PlayStation Blog announced which games were coming to PlayStation Plus. If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you might be happy with this list. If you aren't, this list may compel you to join this month. Personally, there's one game on this list that I'm excited for everyone to play. I haven't played it myself, so I'm not quite sure why I'm all that excited, but I know it's a game I'd enjoy playing. And I think everyone else would. That game is Life is Strange. I'll definitely do my best to play it this month. I already have it. I just haven't gotten around to playing it. But that's not what you're here for.
